Stan is the press currently doing all of the work in the print shop. He is a Chandler & Price Pilot Oldstyle that we acquired from his namesake, Stan Harris, a dedicated wood type collector. I think it was the promise of giving the press a good and purposeful home that brought us together. After his arrival, in true Betty & Bing fashion, he was promptly stripped, painted, oiled and sent back into the shop.

Stan does beautiful, firm, precision work. Without him, the business would still be twiddling its thumbs and awaiting the restoration of Bing. We're so happy to have him as part of the team, just not happy enough to rename the company.
